It’s been a while since I’ve posted one of my ‘most popular’ lists! This time, I thought I’d share the bestselling crochet pattern downloads across my shops on Etsy, Lovecrafts and Ravelry in March 2025.

1Always popular in the run-up to Easter, number one of my downloads chart is my simple egg crochet pattern. Perfect in a bowl or hanging from a twig tree, you can add embellishments or just enjoy their natural perfection.

2I have to say it’s a surprise entry at number 2! My snail crochet pattern (which also includes a slug pattern) is having a real moment. Maybe as people get out into their gardens for the spring season, slugs and snails are on their mind?
This is an advanced pattern with some unusual techniques – download if you’re up for something a bit different!

3My duckling crochet pattern is always popular, especially at this time of year. The complete duckling crochet kit for this same pattern is also popular as a Mother’s Day and Easter gift.

4My recently re-vamped banana and banana peel crochet pattern is next in my list.
Incidentally, you can find the best review picture I’ve ever received if you look at the reviews of this pattern on Etsy!

5Always popular throughout the year, is my robin crochet pattern, but you can ring the changes and create colourful birdies like these from the same pattern.

6I’ve had a little bit of a run on my amphorae crochet pattern too, mainly thanks to the lovely community of archeologists I have discovered on Bluesky. (Bluesky is so nice, btw, like Twitter used to be, I highly recommend it!)

7Perfect for a baby blanket at any time of the year or a wedding gift, my heart square crochet pattern can be used alone, with its companion plain square, or with other squares of your choice to make something unique.

8At number 8 on my 10 bestselling downloads is my Grippy Fish Crochet Pattern. You can have a lot of fun with this, using up small scraps from your stash to create weird and wonderful new fish species!

9One of my most recently-publish patterns is this fun citrus coaster. The sun has certainly been shining around here this last week – are people beginning to think about summer drinks in the garden?

X These linked rings are easier to create than you might think and the end result is very satisfyingly tactile. TBH I’m a little in the dark as to how people use this pattern, as I don’t get a lot of feedback (it’s the nature of selling online), but whatever people are doing with them, it must be fun!
So it’s safe to say there’s a little whimsy is people’s choice of crochet patterns to download at the moment – and I don’t blame my customers one bit!
