With this robin crochet kit you can make a cheerful crocheted robin decoration in gorgeous organically-farmed merino wool.
It is identical in every way to my full-price robin crochet kit, except that each mini skein of the gorgeous merino yarn, rather than being one single length of yarn, will be made up of two or three separate lengths. You will receive exactly the same amount of yarn (in fact actually more to allow for joins) as in my full-price kit, but it will be in several indeterminate lengths.
This kit is ideal for ideal for experienced crocheters who have no problem joining yarns as they work.
Using up odd lengths of yarn too short for my regular kits is a great way for me to reduce waste while offering you a saving!
Your finished robin will be perfect for hanging on your twig tree or Christmas tree, or you can use it as a bag charm or addition to a seasonal wreath.
Robin kit contents:
- 12-page, fully-illustrated pattern printed on 100% recycled paper
- organically-farmed British merino wool
- fine cotton yarn for face details
- 100% natural sheep’s wool for stuffing
- blunt-tipped yarn needle
The pattern is worked with a 3mm (US: C-2 or D-3) and a 3.5mm (US: E-4) crochet hook (or the sizes you need to make a compact crochet fabric with the given yarn). I offer top quality bamboo crochet hooks by Pony if you don’t have any or are giving the kit as a gift.
The finished bird is approximately 8cm or 3â…›inches long.
🟨 This kit is best suited to a confident or intermediate crocheter. If joining new yarn lengths in the middle of a pattern is not something you find easy, you’d be better off with my regular Robin Crochet Kit.
The kit contents and packaging is plastic-free and aims to be as eco-friendly as I can possibly make it:

- ball bands, box labels – 100% recycled paper, recyclable.
- pattern – 100% recycled paper, recyclable.
- tissue – 100% recycled, recyclable.
- business cards, tags, etc – handmade from greeting cards, cereal packets, etc, recyclable.
The stuffing is a natural product and comes in a variety of sheepy colours. The wool is scoured, clean and carded, but may include the odd tiny bit of leaf or straw.
