I’ve sourced a lovely new colour yarn for my eco-friendly Star Stitch Dishcloth Crochet Kit! It’s a pretty, vintage-feeling pink that I’m calling “rosé”.
While it’s not an exact match for the Pantone Colour of the Year, ‘Peach Fuzz’, about which I recently blogged, it gives the same kind of warm, nurturing vibes. I think it would look pretty in any kitchen this summer, and new textiles are an affordable way to give your room a refresh.
I’m very picky about the yarns I offer in my kits. My goal is always to make them as sustainable as possible, whilst also giving the best result for the project concerned. That can be limiting on the colours I can source, so when I see a great on-trend colour like this in the perfect fibre, I jump on it.
This pretty rosé pink yarn is made from 100% recycled cotton for a hard-wearing and easy-to-lauder dishcloth.

Eco-friendly Dishcloth Kit
The kit contains enough yarn to make one dishcloth, with an optional hanging loop (although do ask if you’d like extra balls of yarn). Once you’ve completed that, however, you can use the pattern provided to make more matching dishcloths. All my crochet kits contain helpful information on how to source the perfect yarn to make more items once the contents of the kit are used.
The kit as a whole is designed to be as low-impact / sustainable as I can possibly make it. The kit is beautifully presented so it makes a great gift for a crafty and/or eco-minded friend. Eco-friendly gift-wrapping is also available if you are sending this as a present.
