Those of you who have followed Little Conkers for a while will know that I have quite a history with crocheted veg, both ginormous and life-sized. So finally, of course, I had to make some mini crochet vegetables!
The pattern for these cuties are in Issue 78 of Mollie Makes, out in the UK on paper now and also available online on iTunes and Google Play and such technological wonders.
The set includes mini carrot, mini onion, mini radish, mini peas and mini mushroom.
Crochet them with 4ply yarn – cotton is a good choice. The examples shown here are crocheted in a pastel colour way using DMC Natura cotton, they would look equally good made in realistic colours, or a in range of autumn colours.
If you want to make life-sized, more realistic crocheted vegetables and fruit, find all my patterns on Ravelry, LoveCrochet or Etsy – with discounts for multiple purchases.
