It’s time I let you see what was in my Pre-Christmas Surprise Craft Coffers, I think!
These are all gone, and won’t be repeated in exactly the same form, but I’m planning other Craft Coffers on different themes in 2016.
So here it is!
Each eco-friendly craft coffer contained two complete crochet kits with exclusive patterns I haven’t published elsewhere. One was for this very cute little oak leaf brooch, using 100% British wool, hand-dyed with a range of natural plant dyes by The Occasional Purl.
The other was for this little nordic-style Christmas stocking, in organic cotton, with matching ribbon.
Isn’t it sweet! And just the right size for a few chocolate coins, or a little message.
The coffer included a selection of buttons I ferreted through charity shops to find, so you could choose which one(s) you preferred to add to the stocking.
I hand-made the little envelopes for the notions from magazine pages 🙂
Customers could choose (and most of them did!) to include the two beautiful Brittany Birch crochet hooks required to complete the kits.
In addition to the crochet kits, each kit contained a beautiful paper-craft figurine designed and made by Jurianne Matter:
I’m in love with her designs, and they’re sustainable too: printed on FSC certified, chlorine-free card with vegetable-based inks. The figurine can be an angel, or the wings folded forward to make a coat. Plus there’s space to add a name, wish or message to they can even be sent as a card. So sweet.
So there you have the 2015 Pre-Christmas Craft Coffer. All in a 100% recycled box which has endless uses itself.
If you snagged one of these coffers, or were given one, do please get in touch and let me know how you’re getting on with the projects!
