Pinecone Ornaments (8 Pieces)

Beautiful, life-like crochet pine cone ornaments, handmade in ethically-produced yarn. These are my favourite of all the items I make.

The yarn and the design are in perfect harmony and create a fitting tribute to the intricacy of nature all around us. The four shades of hand-dyed bamboo yarn I use for these fir cones have a beautiful natural sheen and subtle variations of tone. The yarns are sustainably hand-dyed and balled by women in an economically-deprived region of South Africa, providing much-needed employment and empowerment. The pinecones are stuffed with 100% natural sheep’s wool, an annually renewable resource.
