Long-handled shoulder bag

You can make yourself some endlessly useful bags even if you’ve never sewn anything before, with my easy sewing patterns.

The bags in these pictures have been in constant use in my own household for years, so the payback for your effort will be immense!

My patterns contain full details on sourcing and recycling second-hand fabric from old clothes, bedlinen, etc, so no expensive fabric is necessary. You don’t even need a sewing

“Very nice method for a quick, but nicely finished tote bag.”

Sewing Kits with Pre-cut Fabric

My range of sewing kits is currently quite small as, with three home-educated children to work around, I don’t have the space to lay out and cut fabric as I used to! However, this is something I aim to return to, so watch this space!

Bean Bag Kits

I strongly believe every child should have a bean bag or three! These kits feature some striking and fun fabrics with masses of play potential. Some of these are offcuts left over from the fabulous Sewing Circus‘s awesome clothes (do check out her wonderful range).

Such a versatile toy, and much easier for learning to catch than a ball, because they don’t roll away. My pattern includes ideas for games and pastimes with your finished bean bags.

Once you’ve made a start with the fabric in the kit, the pattern explains how to go about sourcing and using secondhand textiles to create more and more!
