This lovely grippy ring fish toy crochet pattern was originally published in 2016 in Let’s Get Crafting Knitting and Crochet Issue 84, but now I’m bringing it to you across all my usual channels.

This attractive, easy-to-grip fish toy can be customises in so many ways with your choice of colours. The central ring is in two different colours for added interest.
Use DK (light worsted weight, Category 3) yarn and a 3.5mm (US size E-4) crochet hook for a fish approximately 12cm (4.75 inches) long. As always, the pattern contains full details about the quantities and type of yarn you will need.
Maybe you could make it in heavier rope or recycled fabric yarn for a fun dog toy, however!
Like all my patterns, you can order this Grippy Fish Toy pattern printed and gift-boxed, and it would make a lovely present for a new or expectant parent.
