Here’s something a little different I’m adding to my shop: handy sets of blank greetings cards featuring bright ‘granny square’ motifs.
You may have seen me making some ‘granny square’ motifs and variations in my news feeds recently, from playing with colour combinations, to the boring but essential blocking process!
These are the four finished granny square motifs.
These motifs now feature on a series of 100% recycled greetings cards, for all those little notes and hellos you’d like to send whilst spreading the crochet love.
Each set of three A6 cards features three different coordinating designs. They are made of top quality 350gsm cardstock and are blank on the inside for your own messages. The white envelopes are 120gsm and the cards, envelopes, receipts and packaging are all 100% recycled.
You can order these right here, right now with the button below (no need for a PayPal account for this). Just choose the delivery location from the drop-down list.
Alternatively they are available now in my Etsy shop.
It’s been great fun seeing these through from ball of yarn to professionally-printed card – here are the original motifs next to the finished cards!
I must mention the friendly Cornish printing firm which handled my requirements so skilfully. Sixprint specialise in services for artists, illustrators and photographers, and in addition to offering 100% recycled cardstock, I had the satisfaction of knowing that by purchasing from them, I was helping them to fund the fantastic efforts of the Woodland Trust in protecting and creating our beautiful native woodlands.
