Here’s something a little different I’m adding to my shop: handy sets of blank greetings cards featuring bright ‘granny square’ motifs.
Another new pattern! And this time something rather different from me.
I must admit that my most favourite projects are the practical ones. There’s a great deal of satisfaction in regularly using something you made yourself that really solves a problem or serves a purpose.
But there’s no reason something can’t be glam or pretty or quirky in the process!
It’s been a momentous week, that’s left me feeling the need for familiar, cozy things.
So I’m leaving my more demanding design work aside this afternoon and settling down to some simple crochet.

Next up is my vintage bag pattern, adapted from an elegant 1930s pattern I inherited from my Great Aunt.
My apple and pear crochet kit. I expect lots of people have teacher gifts in mind at this time of year.
And also in the top five is my very limited-edition oak leaf brooch crochet kit.

Here’s a new design I’ve added to my range today: rainbow brooch cards.
I have no idea why it had never occurred to me to add rainbows to my range of brooch cards before, because they’re so cheerful and I think anyone would love to receive a card with one of these brooches.
I’ve just taught myself how to crochet an i-cord!
